Product description

Besides business purposes, track lighting is becoming increasingly popular in a home setting. Our modern range of track lighting fits in well with today's interior design trend thanks to its contemporary look. Our elegant track spotlight, Loek, is a luxurious addition to your home. Loek is available in the following woodlike colors: light oak, mahogany, and dark wood. The track spotlight is made of aluminum housing, which not only gives it a chic look, but also makes it sturdy in quality. Aluminum also conducts heat, which is beneficial for the GU10 LED light source.

Have you chosen a black track? We also have track spotlight Loek with black adapter.

Our 1-phase track lighting system consists of three parts. You choose the size of the track, desired number of spotlights and connectors. Once these have been selected, the installation can begin. Need help installing this track system? Please refer to the manual

Explanation of color temperature and wattage

The color temperature of light is indicated in Kelvin value. The lower the Kelvin value, the warmer the light, while a higher Kelvin value, the whiter the light. For example, 6000K is comparable to the color of daylight. Extra warm white light fits well when you want to create a cozy atmosphere, while the warm white color is not only beautiful, but also functional for reading a book. The wattage explains the light's intensity. From 1 watt and higher, the light can be used functionally. 1 watt is comparable to an 8 watt light bulb. You can choose lower than 1 watt if the purpose of the lamp is to create a certain ambience.

Choosing the right GU10 light source

The track spots are supplied without a GU10 light source. This way, you can choose exactly the right lamp to fit your unique lighting design. You can choose a lamp with a narrow light angle, where you can shine the light to a specific point in the room, such as an art object on the wall or the countertop in the kitchen. If you wish to distribute the light more centrally, choose a wider light angle. You can also choose from color temperature, dim-to-warm, or you may want a system that you can control with your phone. We have the following options below:

  • 2700K GU10 bulbs: Warm white light color, suitable for the living room, kitchen and bedroom.
  • 4000K GU10 bulbs: White light color, suitable for spaces where good visibility is important, such as offices and conference rooms.
  • Dim-to-warm GU10 bulbs: With these bulbs, in addition to the light's intensity, the light color also changes from 2700K (warm white) to 2200K (extra warm white/candlelight). This allows you to adjust the light effect. The extra warm white light is suitable for when you want to create a cozy ambience, while the warm white color can also be functional for reading a book.
  • Smart GU10 bulbs: With these bulbs, you can control the lighting with your smartphone. The app is free and is called 'Smart Life'. The app works on Android, iOS and is also compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Through the app, you can determine the color and light intensity and dim the spot.

The difference between a 1-phase and 3-phase track system

With a 1-phase track system, all spots are connected to one group, making the track more refined and suitable for consumer use. A 3-phase track system is more often used in stores and other business spaces. This track is heavier and the track spots can be switched on and off separately in three groups. You can also switch lamps on and off separately with the 1-phase track if you use the smart GU10 bulbs.
