This surface mounted fixture has a sleek design making it popular among interior architects. The fixture has a test button and autotest function. The fixture does a monthly function test of 2 minutes and an annual duration test of 3 hours. This fixture comes standard with 4 pictogram plates made of polycarbonate with the different arrow directions and a blank pictogram. You can place the pictogram yourself on the fixture which applies to your situation.
Tip: when walking straight ahead the pictogram with the arrow upwards should be placed on the fixture.
This fixture can be mounted on ceilings. In consultation with a specialist, you can look at how many places you need emergency lighting. Take a look at the installation guide.
The fixture can be set to continuous (permanent lighting) or not continuous (non-permanent lighting). If the fixture is set to continuous then the light is on even when there is no power failure. If you set the fixture to not continuous then the light will only turn on when the fixture is no longer receiving power from the mains and will then stay on for 3 hours on the battery. Three hours is usually enough for employees and visitors to leave a building and is also within the legal standard.
All our emergency lighting models are CE approved and meet the standards and requirements that apply in Europe. The housing and diffuser are made of high quality plastic.
