Note: The lights are IP20 and should only be hung in dry places, such as under a pergola. The solar panel is IP44 and may be hung in the rain.
Are you looking for unique lighting under your pergola? This solar light cord with small round lights is perfect for this purpose. This solar light cord works entirely on solar energy. You, therefore, do not need an outlet. This makes the light chain very practical and environmentally friendly. The light cord comes with 20 unique small lamps. The small round lights give the light cord a unique look and provide good and beautiful lighting. Check out the manual of the solar light cord for more information.
The cord features a solar panel with a battery. The solar panel has a built-in light sensor, which automatically turns the light on in the dark. It also has a convenient on/off button in case you don't want light for an evening. In addition, there is an automatic timer in the solar panel, which ensures that the lighting goes off after 8 hours of operation. The light cord can be set in 4 different modes: standard, flashing, fast flashing, and double flashing. You can attach the solar panel in two ways: you can attach the solar panel to the wall or you can use the included pin to stick the solar panel into the ground.
See the solar light string manual for more information.
A solar lamp needs a lot of light during the day to be able to charge and burn during the evening hours. The more hours of sunlight the solar panel can capture during the day, the better the battery is charged to release its energy in the form of light during the dark. Did the lamp catch little or no light on a cloudy day? Then the battery will be less fully charged and the lamp may not burn as long in the dark, or may not provide light at all. In the winter period, the sun will therefore not always be strong enough for the solar products to charge properly. The solar light cord will therefore burn longer in the summer and shorter in the winter. Not only the sun is an important factor, but also the angle at which the sun shines on the solar panel is of great importance. The more perpendicular the angle, the better the battery will charge. Therefore, make sure to place the solar panel as sunny as possible, facing south. Regular cleaning of the solar panel extends the life and burn time of your solar lamp.
Please fully charge the battery of a solar light before use. This solar light cord has an on/off switch. Set the switch to "off" and place the panel in a sunny location. Leave the panel here for a few days (depending on the number of hours of sunshine) so that the battery has a chance to be fully charged. Then you can turn the switch to "on" and enjoy your solar lights in the evening. With this solar light cord it is also possible to charge the battery with a USB cable (not included).
The solar panel has a protection value of IP44. This means that the panel can hang outside in the rain, in all weathers. The lights, however, are not, they are IP20 and should only be hung in dry places, such as under a pergola.
The lamps feature a virtually unbreakable polycarbonate shade. The LED bulbs have a long life. If unexpectedly a bulb breaks, you can easily replace it.
