A simple but timeless ceiling lamp. That is the Gil. The lamp is finished in a black color. This makes Gil perfect for the basic lighting in your living room, kitchen or bedroom. The simple design makes Gil suitable to combine with your other lighting and the lamp will certainly not look out of place in your interior.

Technical aspects

The spots of Gil have a dimension of ø 60 mm x 150 mm. The ceiling light is directly connected to the mains and can be easily operated using a wall switch.

The ceiling light has a protection value of IP20 and is therefore suitable for indoor use. Please note that due to this protection value Gil is not suitable for use in wet rooms.

Ceiling spot with GU10 fitting

Gil has three GU10 fittings and can handle up to 50 watts per light source (light sources not included). Depending on the chosen light source, the recessed spot can be dimmed by means of an external dimmer (not included). Are you looking for a dimmer? Then take a look at our wall dimmers.

• 2700K GU10 bulbs: Warm white light color, suitable for the living room, kitchen and bedroom.
• 4000K GU10 bulbs: White light color, suitable for spaces where good visibility is important, such as offices and conference rooms.
• Dim-to-warm GU10 bulbs: With these bulbs, in addition to the light's intensity, the light color also changes from 2700K (warm white) to 2200K (extra warm white/candlelight). This allows you to adjust the light effect. The extra warm white light is suitable for when you want to create a cozy ambience, while the warm white color can also be functional for reading a book.
• Smart GU10 bulbs: With these bulbs, you can control the lighting with your smartphone. The app is free and is called 'Smart Life'. The app works on Android, iOS and is also compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Through the app, you can determine the color, light intensity and dim the spot.
