Festoon belts are ideal to add atmosphere to your garden, party, or restaurant. The beauty of the festoon belts is that the product has changed very little over time. Our sturdy festoon belts are made of high-quality rubber and contain a copper core of 2 x 1.5 mm². The festoon belts are suitable for outdoor use. In the unlikely event that a bulb breaks, you can easily replace it.
These extendable festoon belts can only be linked with other, extendable festoon belts. On our website, we also offer a different type of festoon belt, referred to as our 'standard' festoon belt. These festoon belts have an end cap at the end and no connector. As a result, they cannot be connected to the other cables on this page, that have a unique connector system. At the end of the extendable festoon belt, there is a female connector with an end cap to make the cable water-resistant when you use the cables separately. It is therefore important to hold on to this end cap. If you want to connect a non-extendable festoon belt, you can purchase a female plug and mount it at the end. This is possible with any standard festoon belt, of all lengths. When connecting festoon belts, make sure that the total wattage is never higher than 1500 watts and that the total length of the festoon belt is never longer than 300 meters.

Since the beginning of April 2019 we switched to a new connector, that is larger and more solid. If you have ordered our extendable festoon belts in the past, you can only connect the festoon belts using the old connectors. In order to connect your old festoon belt to our newer festoon belts that have the new connector, you will need to purchase our converter.
The length of the cable, for example, 10 meters, stands for the distance between the power plug and the end piece of the cable. In the case of the 10 meters festoon belts, there is a 1-meter distance between the power plug and the first socket. If you find this distance to be too small, then you can always order an extension cord. Click here for detailed drawings of the festoon belts and all the measurements.
For these festoon belts, we provide a choice between 1, 2, or 3 sockets per meter. The number of sockets will depend on the lighting effect you wish to create, as well as on the available budget. Most of our customers choose to have 2 sockets per meter.
Our festoon belts are compatible with LED bulbs, energy-saving bulbs, and incandescent bulbs. The maximum wattage per socket is 15 watts.
The prize of the festoon belts is excluding the LED bulbs. If you wish to order the LED bulbs separately, you can find these in our menu under the categories 'warm LED bulbs' and/or 'colored LED bulbs'. If you wish to order a complete set, so that you don't have to purchase the products separately, have a look under the categories 'complete set warm white and complete set colored'.
When using our festoon belts outdoors, it is important that the bulbs (not included) are well protected against water damage. Therefore, please make sure that the bulbs are screwed incorrectly (see manual). The sealing ring will then prevent water from leaking into the socket.
