The wall lamp, Muriel, is a lamp that can do much more than you think. The base of this powerful circular lamp is made of black aluminum. A diameter of 14 cm and a depth to the wall of only 4.8 cm indicates that Muriel does not shout its presence from the rooftops. Yet, when you move the front of Muriel, you will find that she can do more than you think. In fact, the front can be slid up so that she provides light to the part of the wall above the wall mount. If you have a beautiful or characterful exterior wall, you can very easily illuminate a portion of the wall by rotating Muriel upward.
The base is formed by an aluminum fixture consisting of two discs, with a transparent window on the inside of the front disc to let light through. The light comes from an integrated LED light source (12 watts) that has a light output of 660 lumens. Muriel also has an IP54 classification, making it resistant to dust and rain. Enough reasons to give this small circle a place on your outside wall and create magic next to your front door.
