The Skaly track spotlights are specially designed to accommodate AR111 LED GU10 spotlights. AR111 LED spotlights are suitable for situations where you want to highlight something specific. In business contexts think of the presentation of products in a store and in restaurants the food on the table. In private contexts, this lamp is suitable for a home with higher ceilings. The 24-degree light angle allows a specific art object or counter top in the kitchen to properly be illuminated. A major advantage of the Skaly track spotlight is that the back of the spotlight is completely free and the AR111 lamp can disperse its heat well. LED does not get as hot as halogen, but can also handle it poorly. By placing the spotlight in the Skaly fixture, you are assured of a maximum lifespan. The track spotlights require an AR111 GU10 LED light source. Our AR111 GU10 LED lamps have a dim-to-warm option. This means that the light color changes when dimming. This will change from 3000k (warm white) to 2000K (extra warm white). Both colors provide ambient lighting throughout your living space.
The color temperature of light is indicated in Kelvin value. The lower the Kelvin value, the warmer the light, while a higher Kelvin value, the whiter the light. For example, 6000K is comparable to the color of daylight. Extra warm white light fits well when you want to create a cozy atmosphere. The warm white color is not only beautiful, but also functional for reading a book. The wattage explains the light's intensity. From 1 watt and higher, the light can be used functionally. 1 watt is comparable to an 8 watt light bulb. You can choose lower than 1 watt if the purpose of the lamp is to create a certain ambience.
With a 1-phase track system, all spots are connected to one group, making the track more refined and suitable for consumer use. A 3-phase track system is more often used in stores and other business spaces. This track is heavier and the track spotlights can be switched on and off separately in three groups.
